About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To improve my languages and meet as many interesting inspiring people across the world as I can

ABOUT ME

I live in East London and am currently studying a Masters in Applied Anthropology in Community and Youth Work at Goldsmiths College. I am volunteering for an organisation that works with young refugees and asylum seekers and find my work very rewarding.

I would say I'm very sociable and enthusiastic. Always keen to meet new people, get to know new places and cultures, and get stuck in. I studied French and Spanish at university so I love meeting people from all round the world and speaking different languages.

I am musical, creative and political. I sing in a collaborative women's choir and get involved in local activism and community organising when I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To have the chance to meet other people and explore new places in a different and exciting way.

Interests

I love music, travelling, people, nature, food. Making and listening to music is a real passion of mine - sitting round a campfire with friends and a guitar is my idea of a perfect evening. I also help to lead a women's choir and have a great time singing with a group of fantastic women. I am involved in many different youth organisations and activist projects which have brought me closer to incredible people and places and taught me a lot about myself and the world. I love meeting new people, you can always learn more from every single person you meet.
