Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy a wide range of music — from acoustic tunes and Spanish rhythms to jazz and rock. It all depends on the mood and the journey.
Movies: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Harry Potter, The Twilight Saga, and anything that blends imagination with a strong sense of adventure.
Books: These days I read a lot of scientific papers, but I’m always inspired by people who read philosophy, psychology, and literature that sparks self-reflection.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once went aurora hunting 🌠on foot in the Arctic at 2 a.m. It was freezing cold and completely dark, but the sky was alive. While hiking halfway up a hill, I saw a lone figure sitting silently under the stars. I greeted him, and when we made our way down later, we took a photo together — a random but unforgettable connection under the northern lights.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share knowledge about animal science, gut microbiota, and research life, not to mention the Chinese language and foods🥘. I’d love to learn anything hands-on — cooking, gardening, and all kinds of life skills from people around the world. BTW, Let’s play a Chinese card game I know — it’s really fun!♦️♠️♣️♥️
What I Can Share with Hosts
A warm smile and hug😊 , interesting travel stories, deep chats about animal science, and maybe some Mandarin or animal facts you didn’t know you needed. Oh, and possibly dumplings and hotpot if there’s a kitchen!
