ABOUT ME

I love working on the tech side of live theatre, and I loveloveLOVE hanging out with (or supervising, I guess) kids. They're the best!
I would rather run around the world and learn stuff that way than sit in a lecture hall and memorize facts and statistics. I get that it's probably good to learn things at school, but I'm not so into it.
I grew up with one of those nerdy dudes who plays games like Dungeons and Dragons as a Dad, so you can imagine how that affected me. Totally into reading every Terry Goodkind, Neal Stephenson, Douglas Adams book that exists (not Neal Stephenson's later stuff, though).
Food is the best! I'm just now getting into the cooking end of it :p
I have a thing for zombies, but not THAT kind of thing. Mostly just zombie movies or video games or merchandise.
Uuuh animal hats? Yes.

PHILOSOPHY

I didn't grow up with religion, so I never thought about much besides what is here in front of me. And I wanna know all about it. Even if I did think about the beyond, what would I be able to do about it from here?

Right now I just want to get involved with groups and talk to people who participate. I guess I'm just trying to establish a foundation until I'm at a spot in my life where I can buy a ticket and actually surf couches.

Interests

Adventuring! (outdoor and otherwise)

Politics and culture (studying International Relations in the Middle Eastern track).
Cuddling with cats when its rainy and running around with dogs when its sunny.
Some times I'll write a line or two, or maybe doodle.

Music, Movies, and Books

hip hop and rap, classic rock and other rock for just chillin, pop and dubstep and also hip hop for partying.
I will read any book that has some sense of adventure to it. Right now I'm reading The Hunger Games (kids from the summer camp I work at got me started) and also C.S. Lewis' Out of the Silent Planet (space adventure written in the 30's? Yes, please).
Watching Game of Thrones, Supernatural and The Venture Brothers. And other stuff too, I just can't think of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

White water rafting down the Salmon River-- AAAAMAZING! Best thing ever. For sure gonna do more rafting.
Flash mob-- of course!
