Hey,
My name is Ryan and i'm 30 years old. I have been living in China for nearly 6 years now and have no plans on moving back to England anytime soon. I love to travel and where I live in China is a great platform to travel around South - East Asia as I am right between Hong Kong and Macau.

My main job is an teaching English. I work at Yung Wing International Kindergarden and teach kids from as low as 2 up to 7 years old.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason i'm on coach surfing is simply because I love travelling and meeting new people. I often travel alone to places where I don't know anyone so it would be great to meet some like minded people.

Interests

In my spare time I enjoy playing music and making songs with my band. We play gigs most weekends so it's pretty tough to have nights in at the weekend.

I like to keep fit and teach spin classes at the local gym, I also take part in yoga classes.

When I get the chance to chill-out i'll usually watch a movie, documentry or TV series.

I love to spend time on the beach, surfing but i'm no expert yet and scuba diving.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think my favourite artist is probably Paulo Nutini and love the song "Iron Sky". Another Artist I like is "Hozier". However I love music and love finding new bands to listen too. I really like reggae music and enjoy listen to Bob Marly, Stephan Marley and Fat Freddy's Drop. The band I am is mainly reggae too. In the band I play harmonica, didgeridoo and sing backing vocals.

I don't read enough as I want to but the most recent book I read was "The Secret". I'm currently reading Keith Richards autobiography "Life".

I like so many movies It's hard to choose but I generally like movies that are based on actual events.

Favourite TV show was probably Breaking Bad.
