Hello, I'm Ryan. I am a writer that is right now mainly focused on spirituality and philosophy.

I have been traveling the U.S. since February of 2018, doing research and collecting stories for a book I am writing on the American religious Experience. I am presently traveling with two other writers, doing a small tour of readings along the east coast and midwest.

I am a bit nerdy and a bit shy, but am always up for good conversation. I am deeply curious and love trying out new experiences. I look forward to hearing your story.

The best part of traveling is the people that you meet and get to interact with. While I am still new to couchsurfing, I am no stranger to traveling and staying with friends of friends. I want to hear stories, make connections, and explore cities through the eyes of the locals.

Musica, film e libri

This is hard.

In regards to music, I really do enjoy everything (even country and rap!), but tend to listen to a lot of jazz and classical music when I am writing, classic rock and jam band stuff when I'm driving, and Nina Simone and Marvin Gaye when I'm making out.

With movies, I enjoy documentaries, science fiction, art house flicks, schlock theater, and am willing to watch anything that someone else suggests.

I read a lot. At any given time, I try to be reading a religious or philosophical text, a non-fiction book, and a novel. I also read a lot of poetry and have been known to enjoy comics and graphic novels.
