I am a 26 year old who is looking for the most creative way to live his life. I am an extremely optimistic person and I am always searching for new experiences and adventures. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world by working several part time jobs and having a career as a model in New York City. I have recently published my first novel and am enjoying the process of sharing my story.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to travel in the most authentic and affordable way possible. I am a down to earth, easy going person who doesn't mind crashing on couches if it means that I am able to see the world and meet incredible new people. I hope to be able to return the favor for foreigners when they visit California, once I have my own place!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to believe that my taste in music, movies and books cross all genres. I love old-school hip hop and rap, but I also love bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cage the Elephant, and I think that Shakira is a legend. I am an avid storyteller, and thus entertain myself with movies and books quite often, my favorite other being Charles Dickens and my favorite movies vary from SpaceJam to 8mile, to Citizen Kane. I pretty much love everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am very appreciative of my life's experiences so far and like to think that I have done lots of amazing things, but my most recent accomplishment that I am proud of would be that I was on several billboards in NYC and Los Angeles for a modeling job that I did. I thought it was pretty surreal and definitely a feel good moment to see myself in the city.

I am a very philosophical person who thinks often about life and the bigger picture, and I am often the one that friends come to for advice or conversation. I feel that I can bring positive vibes into a home, as well as a creative energy that artists may be looking for.
