Personality wise, I'm a cynical asshole on the outside, but a soft romantic on the inside. I adore intellectualism, but respect individuality more, and I have very little patience for things that don't contain either. I like anti-jokes more than I like regular jokes. I'm not one for things like patriotism. I cherish alternative viewpoints, but I am of strong opinions, and my goal in life is to speak my mind with ever-increasing clarity, grace, and wit. I am intensely passionate about those I care about, and empathetically understanding of everyone. I am a man who only wishes for a few close friends, and a thousand acquaintances. I am eagerly and openly myself at all times. I yearn to climb mountains.

Well, that whole plan got derailed. Regardless, walking across the country will be a lifelong dream of mine and I plan on giving it another go. This time for a cause. 4,000 miles on foot is hard work, hard enough work that it should be done for something larger than myself. I'll be fundraising soon.

When I'm at it again, I'll be thankful for both your couches and your company.

In another life, when I have a place with room to spare, I look forward to hosting anyone that needs a warm and inviting place to be. We're both going to have to be patient on that one though.
