About Me

I consider my self an outgoing, spontaneous gentleman with a hunger for knowledge, adventure, and conversation. I am usually down to discuss life, love, and everything in between until the wee hours of the night should my company desire, but can just as easily sit back and listen to a great album, go for a quiet hike, or duke it out in a board game. I have an awful sense of direction, which has taught me to enjoy the journey as much if not more than the destination. ENFP personality type. I am currently employed as an adjunct geology/hydrology professor (professional website: ryanmccutcheon.weebly.com).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my bicycle from Boise to Portland with a friend.. because another friend said I couldn't do it.. without training and on a bicycle that I converted from a mountain bike to a touring setup. Primary diet = peanut butter tortillas.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer you a geologic interpretation of your surroundings, as the clues to Earth's past lie just beneath our feet. I'm interested in learning about culture, the nighttime sky, and people in general.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Clean dishes, a laugh, a beverage of your choice, a mean board game/mario kart competitor, vegetables from your neighbor's garden (just kidding).

Countries I’ve Visited
