My name is Ryan. I am 23 years old traveling the world in hopes to play professional soccer. I've been playing soccer all my life, and there is nothing I want more. I decided not to continue my college education in order to put all my attention on this goal. I do have aspirations of getting a college degree, just not at the moment. I know it won't be easy but I'm willing to work extremely hard for it.
Besides soccer, I love most sports, hiking, being outdoors, photography and videography. I am a huge supporter of the Portland Timbers in MLS, and in my spare time you can mostly find me working out, playing soccer, or being outdoors with my dog.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet knew people. So I think this is a great way that I can travel while learning some things and listening to other people's stories and experiences.

I love all types of music. Country to hip-hop. Rap to pop.
I enjoy most movies too, but really enjoy films like American Sniper and Saving Private Ryan. I love to laugh too, so comedies are always great.
I'm not much of a reader. I would much rather watch or listen to something. My favorite book though, hands down is The Alchemist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was kicked out of England. It was a freak accident, but it makes for a funny story looking back at it.
I also spent a week in Guatemala helping out at a medical center.
