Aloha!

Whilst this profile is mainly for me, at the moment I am currently travelling America with my girlfriend, Nomi.

I grew up in a teeny tiny village in the middle of Suffolk, so I'm a bit of a country mouse. I went to sixth form in Ipswich and then to university in Sheffield where I got my degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Me and Nomi do the odd bit of travel here and there, however we're currently travelling America from 15th July to 11th October! Woohoo

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I was always a bit put off by the idea of couchsurfing. We spent the first month of our America trip staying in motels and a singular hostel when we were in LA. It wasn't until we met a fantastic host in Roswell, NM, that I really understood how great couchsurfing can be! In the week or so we stayed, our host had 2 Australians, 4 Americans, 5 Italians and 2 Swiss stay at her house. All of them were very interesting in their own right, and it was great to spend time talking, exploring and drinking with other travelers.

So I'm on couchsurfing to try and meet even more amazing people!

兴趣

I'm a bit of a manchild in this sense. My biggest interest is gaming, particularly competitive CS:GO which me and my other manchild friends get together and play pretty regularly. But it keeps us happy, and gives us an excuse to all get together and drink! Other than that, I try and shoot semi-regularly. I've had my own shotgun since I was 18, so I actively shoot clay pigeon when funds allow.

I listen to mostly anything, although my music tastes lean towards rock music of pretty much all genres. I'm also a big Bo Burnham fan, so I guess I could say a big portion of my favorite music is in the comedy genre?

Again, I'll watch and read pretty much anything if it's interesting enough. I do however have a pretty terrible habit of starting books and then never finishing them.

I've never hand delivered a baby dolphin or BASE jumped from the Burj Khalifa, so I guess I'm pretty boring in this regard. I'll think of something to put here eventually, but for now just think of me as pretty un-amazing.

I'm always eager to lend a hand with absolutely anything. I may not be very good at whatever it is I'm doing but if you need a job doing I'm more than happy to give it a go. I can make a fairly decent cup of tea by UK standards. I'm fairly tech orientated, so if you've got any technical problems that you need solving I can do my best to solve them. Other than all of that, I'm fairly chatty and can provide somewhat interesting conversation!
