I'm currently studying for an MA in Social Anthropology at Manchester University.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet interesting people from all over the world. I've really enjoyed having people people stay at my house and i'm shortly travelling to India, where I hope I can stay with some great people who will introduce me to their country.

Interests

I'm hugely interested in literature, cinema, hiking, cycling. I also love cooking, food from all over the world and big group meals with my amazing friends in Manchester.

I love having stimulating and wide ranging conversations with interesting and diverse people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books of all kinds. I wouldn't want to bore you with a long list of the authors I admire but I've recently been reading alot of David foster Wallace, Don Dellilo and Michael Chabon. I also love writers like Nabokov and Borges. I have also, recently, been reading books related to anthropology and sociology.
I also love cinema; particularly films by Kubrick, Malick, Herzog and Tarkovsky. Me and my housemates have a huge projector to cater to this particular interest!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can gladly cook, and help out around the house for anyone who will host me. I'm easy going and curious and am always interested in new places and people.
