About Me

ABOUT ME

Hello! I've recently returned from world travels, and it's now my time to host. I work in entertainment here in Los Angeles but am originally from the east coast.

After living in San Francisco, I quit my corporate job to travel the world. I rode my bicycle across France and through the Netherlands, lived with a family on Reunion Island, rode motorbikes in Thailand where I worked in a restaurant, lived in a Buddhist monastery and Hindu ashram, and fell in love with India.

MY MISSION(S)

A) Make lifelong friends
B) Do hard things
C) Be here now.
D) Understand the world and this life a little bit better
E) Give back

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the people you meet make the journey. I learn more from people than the places themselves.

Interests

Cycling, cooking, writing, film, nature, philosophy, psychology, music, dancing, comedy, talking and wandering the city until sunrise (with or without drinks)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 800 mile bicycle trip through southern France. One of my proudest accomplishments!

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH: I can teach you the basics of using a camera, bike maintenance, and just about any computer or technology skill. I have a wide and eclectic knowledge base around philosophy, history, art, and literature, and I love sharing my many random facts! Also well versed in business, so happy to help any entrepreneurs

LEARN: I would like to learn any and everything, but in particular, the history, food, art, and dance of your culture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For starts, I am always excited to cook you and American dinner (or breakfast) and we can also practice English!

We can also buy beer, tell travel stories, take you for a drink, and ultimately host in the states (or find friends who can host).

I'm also an adamant career mentor, so I'd love to help you think through career options, polish your resume, or interview prep.
