ABOUT ME

I am a laid back person who never seems to get tired of going to new places or meeting new people. I have been fortunate to be able to see a lot of the United States, but I am really looking forward to my trip to Europe this summer. I tend to be a little shy when I don't know someone at first, but I open up so much was I meet a fellow passionate traveler. What I love about this world is that no matter how much I learn about it, there is always SO much more that I don't know. It has endless opportunities...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any couchsurfing experiences with regards to this site yet, but oh man, I've slept on many couches over my short life. I'm always extremely grateful for anyone willing to host me and allow me into their house. Latest experience was driving from Seattle to Maine to Florida and not staying in a hotel one time.

Interests

I have been interested in music since a very young age. I've learned to play a few instruments over the years and still enjoy playing for fun. I have recently become very interested in photography. It seems like I can't learn enough of it fast enough! I also enjoy running on a fairly consistent basis. It keeps me in great shape and really allows me to get a good feel of where I'm visiting or living. Oh and of course traveling, but of course everyone on this site is interested in that... :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently addicted to Netflix in my free time. My favorite shows are: Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Community, Lost, 24, The Office, Reno 911!, and others like that. As far as movies go, I always enjoy a good comedy, but I also appreciate drama every once in a while. Favorite actor is Adrien Brody

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the risk of sounding cliche, visiting the grand canyon was one of the best awe-inspiring moments I have had. Everyone should visit it in their lifetimes as words just don't do it justice. Driving across the US twice is also left me with many great memories. The US is so different from state to state, it's very interesting to me to experience the different geography and different people. I like to think that I've picked up little habits from each place that's made me a better person.
