Normal is boring, and I'm anything but!

I love meeting new people and trying new things. I'll try just about anything at least once!

I teach stand-up comedy as a therapeutic tool with CAMH, Canada's largest mental health hospital! It's a really cool intersection between my dual passions of mental health advocacy and comedy!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I've travelled quite a lot, and have stayed in hotels, hostels, and have couchsurfed.

Couchsurfing is hands down my favourite of all of the above experiences!

Getting to meet new people from different walks of life, and get a true local's perspective on a new destination is unmatched!

And I love sharing my passion for my hometown with travelers, as well!

I am currently trying to read everything ever published by my two favourite authors: Michael Lewis and Malcolm Gladwell. However, I appreciate almost all non-fiction.

The coolest thing I think I've ever done is probably when I went to go teach English in Thailand.

I had always wanted to teach English abroad, and out of the blue, an opportunity just kind of fell in my lap, and BAM, within a week's notice, I was all packed up and moving into my new apartment in Dankhunthot!

I'm a fairly decent cook, if I do say so myself!

I also make some pretty mean cocktails, as I worked in the restaurant and bar industry for about a decade.

My last few years in the industry, I actually got trained and certified as a Prud'homme Beer Sommelier, so I can also recommend some incredible beer and food pairings!
