CURRENT MISSION

I want to journey the world in pursuit of awesomeness--search unknown lands where dragons still breathe fire with the fickle temptress Lady Adventure as my guide.
Basically, I want to travel, learn, write, and gain new perspectives. To touch as many lives as possible, seek out culture at its roots, and grow through all of these things.

ABOUT ME

I'm left-handed, I enjoy surfing, doing martial arts, playing video games (especially Mario Kart), and of course creating art.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live life to the fullest and love being in the moment. To live a passion filled, fruitful existence. To quote a line from a great movie, "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present."
After a major tragedy in my life, I realized life is short and I want to see all there is to see. I'm thankful for everyday that I have had. On my journeys I want to meet new people, and serve others however they may come across my path.

I have always been interested in community service. Even as I are travel, seeking ways to serve others. To keep an open mind and help my fellow man.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies I enjoy the most are epics, such as "Gladiator", "Last Samurai" and "Saving Private Ryan"; comic book superheros films, "Spider-Man" and "Batman". Akira Kurosawa is one of my favorite directors; and of course anything indie that requires good acting and not special effects to carry the story.

I recently just finish reading all the "Harry Potter" books again, and a new series I read for the first time, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" by Rick Riordan.
I am starting on my next book list which include "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran and "Ben-Hur" by Lew Wallace.

Ska has always been my favorite type of music since high school. I love it almost to a fault, almost. Other types I enjoy are folk, jazz, bluegrass, alternative rock, and metal.
