ABOUT ME

I'm Ryan and I have a boy's name. Take a look. See? Not a boy. Ok good. Whew! Now that awkward part's over. Happens to everyone, including my sixth grade typing teacher.

I live in Asheville, NC and work as a pharmacist at a local grocery store. I love to kayak, so a week or weekend I'm not working that's usually where I am.

I'm quiet. No I don't think it's awkward.

There are no fewer than 6 animals in the house. 3 large-ish dogs and 3 cats that mostly stay outside. So I don't want anyone who is terrified of fluffies and mr. whiskerz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba Diving in the Great Barrier Reef off of Australia in 2006. We had a group of about 6 headed out on an early morning dive. We came upon a group of 8 Giant Manta Rays going through their morning cleaning ritual. For the 45 minutes of oxygen left in my tank, we sat on the bottom and watched these huge, majestic creatures preen and dance directly overhead.
