ABOUT ME

As you read this now I am 30. I live in Mangaf, Kuwait and mostly enjoy it. My hometown is Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I work as a paramedic on an ambulance and this job has allowed me the free time to travel and see the world. I love my job but I also love my free time. My friends would say that im very outgoing, funny, and generally a nice guy. Im always smiling and typically say hello to everyone I meet. I meet people very easily and can have all sort of conversations. I like a lot of active activities (running, biking, camping, hiking, sking, traveling, exploring). I do also like local festivals, restaurants, and foods. I have traveled a good bit on my own knowing that I would always meet people that were just as friendly as me. I like to laugh and stress is something thats not a part of my life. I love animals and generally well pet any dog i see or walk up to the owner to talk about their dog. Overall I just want to enjoy my life as much as I can, meet as many people as possible, and feel like every experience I had would be worth doing over again. Life is short, have a piece of cake. In Kuwait the options for entertainment are somewhat limited, but i could definitely meet for at a great local restaurant i know.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im very involved in the running community and volunteer my time for races and coaching. Having a medical background Im a member of a local disaster team and volunteer my time as medical personnel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Ukraine, South Africa, and Croatia. When I lived in my own apartment back home, I always make every attempt to take my surfers out and involve them with my friends or the places that i like going. Now living in Kuwait im only free to meet up, I have a very flexible schedule. Hopefully soon I will have a car.

Interests

Welding, wines, cars, running, cycling, sking, traveling, Netflix, exploring, new foods, new cultures. Generally interacting with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I dont watch too many movies unless they are documentaries, foreign, or independent.
Ill listen to just about any type of music.
Books I read a non fiction and about a topic I am interested in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Delivered a baby, haha. Its really as messy as you think!
Ive run a marathon.
Had conversations with Buddhist monks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I work as a paramedic so I can answer your medical curiosities.
I weld, coach running, bike, sew, mechanic, can change light bulbs, or fix just about anything.

I just want to live life more simply without worries. Or learn to cook.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My terrible cooking skills, seriously keep me out when you are cooking. At best I can clean up.
