ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old Peace Corps Volunteer currently teaching biology at a secondary school in Tanzania. I've been living in Tanzania for 1.5 years and as I wind down my service, I'd like to invite surfers to get the village experience. After being here since 2012 as a teacher, I find myself very interested in education policy and administration. Ultimately, I'd like to go to grad school for international development policy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just finished "Americanah" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Some of the best books I've read since being here have been "Dead Aid" by Dambisa Moyo and "The Ugly American" by Eugene Burdick and William Lederer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can totally teach people about life in a Tanzanian village. Teaching people about Tanzanian culture would be an experience I'm willing to share.
