ABOUT ME

I've got lots of interests. I LOVE my job as a reporter with a newspaper in South Texas... I guess that's sort of lame, counting my job as an interest. Oh well, it's loads of fun. I also love going to baseball games and do so as often as possible. On Saturday afternoons, you'll probably catch me cooking steaks on my grill. I'm a big billiards/pool fan, even though I stink at it. I'm also a history nut, so I go crazy and visit all the museums when I go to a new city.

PHILOSOPHY

"The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones that never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes 'Awww!'"

I live in McAllen, a city nobody more than 100 miles from McAllen has heard of. So, nobody has asked to surf on my couch. But I really want them to!
