PHILOSOPHY

The manifestation of my most core personal philosophy is the act of contradicting it.

That being said, there's nothing wrong with living a balanced life.

This world is often seperated into dichotomies, however it's important to understand not only those extremes, but also the balance between the different points on a given continuum. Meanwhile the search for the middle path happens under it all.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have hosted and been hosted while I was living in Europe. Getting back on CS to keep the good vibes rolling here in Chicago.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is the story of why I'm here on CouchSurfing:

In January of 2009 I met two girls from Spain who were living in Chicago for a 3 month work stint with the Spanish consulate. Long story short, the three of us became inseparable best friends.

When their official planned time in Chicago had turned, I didn't want them to leave and neither did they. So with no job and not much cash to their names I opened up my place to them where they stayed for about 3 months.

This had the obvious type of impact on my life that would make me want to join a website like CouchSurfing.

Making good connections with good people. I'm all about it.

兴趣

I'm interested in nearly everything at least a little bit... which is great except it can drive you mad if your not careful.

Music of many types from all sorts of different places in the world. Studied jazz piano in the uni for a bit, always played the guitar and sang. Lots of random instruments, things with strings, things you can hit, some wind instruments, beat-boxing, etc...

I enjoy reading and writing poetry.
