About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm here to serve.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel. Have been to lots and lots and lots of places. I love meeting new people and trying new things. You're welcome at my home when I have space.

PHILOSOPHY

I am in the moment. It's all I have. I try to make the world a good place by offering the best parts of myself. I do this through the creative expression of my very soul. I believe in humanity and feel there would be less war if we spent some time getting to know one another. That's why I love languages and other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host anyone. The only people I don't host are those I get a bad vibe from. If you're new, it doesn't matter. I'll host you if I feel you'll work out. If my intuition says no, no dice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on numerous, numerous couches, once at a rest stop on the side of the Mississippi River, in a sleeping bag on top of a building in Corsica, in the woods in Corsica, at a lovely Italian girl's apartment in Rome, in a Lazy Boy recliner. I enjoy good people and will sleep anywhere there is not a cat.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: completely eclectic - Modest Mouse, Alan Jackson and Jay Z
Movies: Blues Brothers, Watchmen, 300, The Shawshank Redemption, Borat, Cold Mountain, Mystic River, To Kill a Mockingbird, Casablanca
Books: The Answer, The Secret, Huck Finn, Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Hobbit, 100 Years of Solitude

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing was the Scottish Highlands.
I saw the entire Continental United States. The Mojave Desert is phenomenal.
I saw the lovely waters between Corsica and Sardinia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish, I can tell you how to hitchhike and explain why it is not dangerous and should be a viable form of travel especially if you have time, feel adventurous and want to meet new people. I can teach you French. I can tell you about my time living abroad in Mexico and France.
