ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ryan! I am currently a university student studying Anthropology, French, and Music. I spent 6 years as a Hospital Corpsman (medic) in the US Navy. During that time, I lived in Okinawa, Japan, and deployed to Iraq, Indonesia, and Australia. In addition, I am a singer songwriter, and perform regularly in local coffee shops in Duluth. I think I am a fun person to be around. I love traveling,meeting new people and experiencing new things.

I'm not a huge partier, and I don't smoke or do drugs. I love going on adventures though. Particularly, adventures that include the outdoors and exploration!

This summer, I am traveling to Europe and attending the intensive French Language courses at a university in Besançon. I am hoping to improve on my French skills (which are not strong at the moment), make many new friends and connection, play music, and gain many new stories and experiences.

As I said before, I really am trying to learn French right now. I have taken two years of french at the University, but I feel I need cultural and language immersion to help me improve.

As far as teaching, I used to couch boys gymnastics.

I think music is my biggest means of sharing at this point in my life.
