About Me

Live well.

Currently living and working in Dallas, TX, although I hail from the southeastern US and hope to make it back there someday. I'm a pretty active guy and really enjoy traveling and being outside. Pretty much anything outdoors or sports-related will grab my attention, but I especially like to mountain bike, hike and backpack, and play ultimate frisbee and tennis. I always enjoy meeting new folks, watching a good movie, catching a concert now that I live somewhere with music venues, and trying new restaurants.
So if you're coming through Dallas and looking for either a place to stay, people to meet, or advice on things to do, send me an email and I'll do my best to accommodate.

Working on that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Been a member for a few years now but have really gotten involved in CS in the past year or so. I was able to do some surfing in Turkey and Germany this past summer and all my hosts were great. Now I'm settled in Dallas and am able to host when my schedule permits. You can also find me at many CS events around town.

Lots of CS meetups here in Dallas and in Blacksburg, VA.

Kind of already touched on this but to reiterate:
being outside, ultimate frisbee, sports, hiking, traveling, good music and movies, reading, faith, and meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up Slieve League in Ireland in fog so dense you could barely see your feet. Once we got to the top, as if on cue, the fog blew out to sea and I found myself staring 2000 feet down to the water. That was an amazing day.

Also exploring Cappadocia, Turkey is way up there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to identify stuff outside: birds, bugs, plants, animals. Or throw a frisbee. I'm sure I've got some additional talents but I can't think of them now.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
