About Me

My husband (Elmer 35y/o, born in Puerto Rico) and I have been together since October 22, 2015. We love spending our time together exploring and spreading love everywhere we go.

Life is meant to be lived with passion. There's a quote by a well-known American author, Jack London, that says "I'd rather be ashes than dust..." That pretty much sums it up.

*HOST NOTE: While we are both easy-going, open-minded, free spirits, we have a few allergies that are important to note. Indoor cats, excessive cigarette smoke and indoor mold are all things that make us sick.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2015 I set off on a 3,000-mile, 6-month walking journey across the USA. My purpose was twofold: 1) set and achieve a goal that seems impossible and 2) inspire others to do the same.

In one word, the journey was EPIC. If we don't actually meet and you'd like to know more, check out: http://www.ryanray.com/walk or http://www.fb.com/ryanrayla.

Interests

I love metaphysics and deep conversations about why we're here and how we can make the most of life. I'm not always so philosophical, though, I also have a lighter side, which very often involves 420 or some kind of alcoholic beverage :-).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a sucker for self-help and metaphysical books. I'm always working on my personal evolution. Some of my favs are "Autobiography of a Yogi," "Ask and It Is Given," "A New Earth," "Your Heart's Desire" & "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind."

I also enjoy novels that have an adventure travel/spiritual theme to them, like "The Celestine Prophecy" & "The Alchemist".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow.. so many.. too many to mention.. Sky Diving, SCUBA Diving in the Caribbean, the White Desert in Egypt, Selling all my personal belongings and moving to a foreign country. I could go on and on, but the latest and greatest thing I've done is that I walked across America (from LA to NYC) :) I would love to tell you all about it.
