ABOUT ME

Friendly American Gay Male from Chicago who loves meeting friendly, kind people from all over.

I do community activism work and historic preservation just south of Chicago in Harvey, IL. Harvey is an amazing little industrial city with a storied past. It's so great having a house to host people after years of renting apartments in Chicago!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted several guests and shown them around Boystown/Lakeview, where I used to live in Chicago, as well as some of the south burbs. Everyone has been kind. My favorite guests are those who are interested in my community/urban renewal work and want to see how "real people" in the south burbs live instead of just touristy sites. Aren't most of us here for the grittier side of things? Do we always just want to see the downtown or trendy areas?
