ABOUT ME

I'm a fulltime musician and an energetic, outgoing guy (what a convenient combination!). I've been lucky to travel and tour in a lot of different places, and I've recently been rediscovering that mindset where every little back road diner is a study in local culture.

I love the way people get loose and connect when, for example, a killer blues band is playing at 1am at a bar. It's kind of a miracle. And finally, I'm AWESOME at sleeping on moving vehicles.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Dharma Bums and Anna Karininna are two of my favorite books. Some of my favorite music comes from the Beatles, Paul Simon, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Ben Folds, Amos Lee, The Buena Vista Orchestra, Guster, Devon Sproule, Antibalas, Naughty By Nature, Outkast, and El Caribefunk (the band I opened for in Colombia - they're AWESOME. Check em out).

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I played some original songs to a crowd of over 2,000 villagers at a Women's Rights initiative in Bangladesh. Holy crap! I also just got back from a 7 city, 16 city tour in Colombia!
