Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I really like post-grunge alternative, indie rock, and I really enjoy listening to electronic instrumental (like explosions in the sky or Kavinsky) when I paint.
I really love The Pillows, and one of my all time favourite bands is The Tea Party.

Movies: Matrix (I've seen it 47 times). I really like horror movies, particularly zombies movies. I watch more television than movies though, and I have way too many to say.

Books: Maddadam trilogy, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I also really like comics, like The Walking Dead, Scott Pilgrim, Judge Dredd, TMNT, Tokyo Ghoul, Ao Haru Ride, a whole bunch of other things

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one thing that comes to mind is the last time I was in Kyoto. I climbed to the top of the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which I did on my own because my friends did not want to climb it.
Throughout the whole process, I was the only one that I saw climbing, all I could hear were the cicada's and my heart beating in my chest. All I could feel was the damp humidity within the forest. The whole climb was such an awe inspiring experience, where I felt alone yet connected to the entire world.
It changed my life, my perspective on life and helped me become a better person.
