ABOUT ME

I think this world is beautiful. Every morning the sun comes up and the beauty begins all over again and that strikes me as miraculous.

I like people. I think we're an amazing bunch of bewildered bi-peds, and I learn more from connecting to my fellow monkeys than I ever have from any book.

Sharing good conversation and good food, sharing harmonies and rhythms, or sharing poetry are most especially my favorites.

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever we believe plays itself out in our everyday lives... operative word being "play." I think a lot about what I believe when I'm alone, when I'm sharing time with someone I'd rather just hang out, laugh a lot, and have fun. Of course, I'm happy to wax metaphysical until the sun comes up too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been dancing, writing poetry, and loving music for years, now I'm doing it on the go! Traveling in & around Australia while studying TaKeTiNa, (http://taketina.com/?TaKeTiNa_Is) so chances are for the next 2 years I'll mostly be surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to live in a big ol' Chicago apartment, so we had people crashing all the time... mostly friends of friends. Been crashing while traveling & encountered nothing but kindness.

April 14th, 2012 - solo all-night meditation vigil on the rocky shores of a beach near Otford, NSW, Australia.

After watching the waves, the stars, the moon, and the clouds, the sunrise the next morning made my little human heart explode with joy.
