COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I became aware of Couchsurfing after doing a news story on it a few years ago. I continued to check it out on and off until Spring 2008 when I used it to find people to chat with as I planned my London/Dubai/Bahrain journey. The people I met and the information they gave me was excellent and I'm happy to say I'm now friends with several of them after meeting them during my travels.

Where else but in Dubai could you be riding a camel one day and skiing in an indoor hill the next!

Hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon was incredible, the climb up in a snow/hail storm was even more adventurous!

Yes, that's two amazing things, but I don't care!! haha!
