Beatboxing junglist star-person tree-hugging hippy/hardened battle-rapper.

I love to share stories and poems about dreams, and time travel, and dinosaurs and economics.

I manage to wring a great deal of love and joy and excitement out of pretty much every moment of my life. Even the sucky moments are kinda funny, in a way.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a stirrer of pots.

Usually, I am found in the thick of things. I like to build metaphorical bridges and draw connecting lines between unlikely dots.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in a community powered-home that has hosted a whole cross-section of couch-surfers. It's been a really powerful experience to meet amazing people who whirl into my life spreading waves of change and then twirl off into the distance.

I'm a bookworm. When I get my teeth into a good book, the rest of the world kinda melts away as I consume, consume, consume. Asking me to pick favourite books is like asking a parent to pick a favourite child (which is to say, I definitely have 'em, I just couldn't say them out loud without having to explain, edit, revise, backtrack, amend, replace, second-guess... and i'd secretly hold some deep down even then.)
If you like talking about books we'll get along great I bet.

Music - I love hip hop, but I ESPECIALLY love drum and bass. I love dancing. I'm a big fan of metal (emphasis on thrash). I like anything with rhythm, and I'll boogie to damn near anything.

Sometimes, I get to talk to highschool students about slam poetry, and encourage them to share and connect. Making kids fall in love with poetry is pretty damn amazing.

Oh, and I learned how to wiggle my second toe (the long one next to the big toe) independently. THIS IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG.
