Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To really know a country and have a thorough idea about it, one has to actually merge into it. The greatest way to do that is to mix with its very people.

Couchsurfing is an opportunity to get deeply entrenched in a culture because the host not only lodges you in his own house, but he also guides you. And that is very important when you have zero landmarks in a totally foreign and diverse environment.

Interests

I like literature (Anglophone and French mainly), philosophy, travelling, biking, sunbathing for hours, dancing, and living to the fullest.

I'm a bonne vivante who likes to constantly go out and have fun, laugh, make new discoveries, learn from what others have to say and spend my energy on productive activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into independent, alternative rock, indie, blues, jazz, folk and sometimes electronic music. But I don't have a type that I exclusively listen to. As long as it sounds good, I'm all ears.

I'm a huge fan of Tarantino and Burton. Xavier Dolan is really good, too.

I like Kafka, Beckett, T.S. Eliot, Tennessee Williams, George Orwell... Not really into classics, I'm more of a modern/post-modern reader.

I was once a group leader in England. It was cool to get to work with people from different countries, it was a very beneficial experience.

I'm willing to teach people about myself, my idiosyncratic view of the world and how to value all those little cultural differences that make each of us a unique person. It goes the same for me.
