We are Ryan and Michael. We have been living on the island for a year now and are still enjoying exploring new places. We are easy going, fun loving folks who enjoy getting to know new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have yet to surf anybody else's couch (hopefully we'll change that someday) but we've hosted several people and they've all been wonderful experiences!

Interests

We both enjoy cooking and so tend to preoccupy a lot of our time with new exciting recipes. We like to be outside as much as possible, hiking, riding bikes, kayaking, and so on. When not outside, we like to play board games, read, brew beer, watch the occasional tv show. We recently moved out of the city and are looking forward to adventures with chickens and huge gardens and maybe a couple ducks and a goat or two?

Eco-horror! (e.g. Jaws, Jurassic Park, classic creature features), Nature documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once briefly lost in a Panamian rainforest. While it was maybe slightly unnerving, I had a lot of fun pulling myself up steep muddy slopes with huge tropical vines and seeing poison dart frogs in their natural habitat.
