In 2023 I decided to quit my job as a lawyer, leave my apartment in Utrecht and walk from there to Helsinki (Finland). A lifechanging decision.

Nowadays I work as a teacher, seller, writer and sometimes still as a lawyer. I don't like to identify myself with any role and love to get in touch with other perspectives in life.

Interests

Untill 2023 I worked at an office. This squared concrete box with poor lights, bad coffee and complaining coworkers kept me alive. But I wasn't feeling alive at all. After work, I noticed myself driving home as a zombie on a daily basis. The same thing on repeat, over and over again, untill the weekend freed me from my office career.

On Labour Day 2023 I decided to change my life. I cancelled my rent and job and took my backpack to walk to Finland: the happiest country in Europe (I believe Bhutan is the happiest country in the world). It took me a half a year to get to my final destination. But apart from that I used that half a year to ground, think and receive new insights. I knew what I didn't want to do in live and found what I wanted. So once I got back I decided to find some more variaty in my working life. Instead of being a fulltime lawyer, I decided to become a lawyer, journalist, seller and teacher at the same time. I'd love to work, only not the same work every day.
