About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Ideally the entire world and outerspace, but for now New Zealand would due just fine.

ABOUT ME

Like most people on here, I'm happiest when I'm exploring new places. The problem is exploring new places costs a lot of money so when I'm not traveling I host to bring new people and experiences to me. Plus, I know that when you're in an unfamiliar place it's always nice to have someone show you around, so I do my best to get people acquainted with my city as well as my country.

PHILOSOPHY

It has been my experience that often what we understand as truth is either incomplete or totally wrong, as such I try to never rule anything out as a possibility no mater how absurd it may be. I believe in the concept of Natural Law, that all people have a certain set of basic rights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thus far I have only hosted on person. I hope to host more in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted in Dublin by a strangely well funded college student. Tried to hook up in London, but that is apparently near impossible.

Interests

Anything that has a calculated risk. That is, not a completely stupid or pointless risk. Sky diving is a calculated risk, throwing rocks at a bee hive is a stupid risk.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to a wide variety of music, but given the choice I usually pick metal. For books: "We" "A Hero of our time" "The Lost World" and pretty much anything by H.P. Lovecraft. Anything occult is usually a good pick. The Big Lebowski is still my favorite movie after all these years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Grand Canyon for sure. One of the few times in my life that I've truly had a spiritual experience. It's not really something I can put into words other than to say to see it for the first time is to understand. Stonehenge for sure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am particularly good with computers and most things electronic, and I am more than willing to put these skills to work for my hosts. I also have been taught the worlds only true hiccup cure.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ireland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
