I'm a MD-PhD student in neuroscience. I'm testing the idea that autism arise from an altered balance between the stability and plasticity of synaptic connections in the brain. I like things quiet or loud, calm or crazy, passionate or philosophical.

I play the bass guitar and didgeridoo, I'm into vipassana meditation recently, and I have an identical twin. Places I've visited and loved include Guatemala, Crete, Turkey, the Balkans, Korea, and Yosemite. Neuroscience, vipassana, home-made food, home-made music.
