I’m Ruy, you call me Rui, as my friends call. I’m 31 years old. I’m an engineer in Japan. In my university, I studied in the master degree and majored in Synthetic biology, in Kyoto University. はじめまして、Ruiです。京大の院を卒業して大阪で勤務しています。

Traveling is my second major lol. Actually, in my undergraduate, I was majoring in anthropology so that I’ve stayed in Yunnan of China, Padang of Indonesia, and other interesting places at cultural perspective. Lab work is sometimes lazy and tiring thing... so I need an inspiring experience. Life is too short to wait! My life with traveling!

In special, I'm interested in ethnic food or unique food culture.
Now, I'm interested in eating insects.
(I was learned it by my Chinese frends and enjoyed together. But, in Bandung, Indonesia, a city I live in no one eat insects.)

When I stayed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I attended at a stranger’s wedding party, wow! It’s the first time something like that! They are very easy going and warm. I could feel the “Malaya Muslim tradition “.
