Overview
About Me
I would define myself as a poet, a songwriter and a musician. I'm also a ginger, a raw vegan, a story teller, a hill walker, a day dreamer, a traveller, an animal lover and a child of the rainbow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing to meet new people, make new memories, take myself out my comfort zone and start new friendships that'll hopefully last a lifetime.
Interests
I enjoy culture, I like to emerse myself completely into what the country has to offer. That would mean visiting museums, landmarks, sculptures, beaches, markets, really anything I can do to learn more about their way of life.
I also enjoy a good drink, like everyone else in the world. I'm a pretty sociable person, well it's basically my job to be so I do enjoy putting myself out on the line when meeting new people.
There are four fundamental things I practise for good mental health and keeping my soul a'fire. I do yoga, I meditate, I hill walk and I swim in the ocean as much as I possible can.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a musician myself so I'm pretty fluent when it comes to taste in music. I listen to anything from classical, techno, jazz to heavy metal. I just enjoy music and its partly why I travel. I love the hear the sound of different countries. I'm obsessed with mariachi music after travelling in Mexico. I also believe that by listening to the buskers in the city you can get a real idea of the message or vibe of the city. I would probably say my favourite artist would be a toss up between Florence Welsh and Matt Corby.
Movies, I like them all. I would watch anything and probably annoy you with my endless amounts of questions.
Books, I read a lot of poetry. I'm fascinated with the poetry of my country. I do believe Scottish poetry is the most beautiful pieces of literature i've ever found.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll share anything I can with you. I'm not rich or poor, but whatever I have is for sharing. I have a lot of stories from travelling and living so I have a lot of advice I can give.
