ABOUT ME

I absolutely LOVE travel, I studied Tourism for 12 months and obtained certificate 3. During my studies I had my first overseas experience on a 7 day South Pacific cruise. I had an amazing time.
I went to the USA on my own and I met a huge amount of great people along the way! I love to meet new people and consider myself to be quiet a fun person who is easy to get along with.
I have done some Stand Up comedy and that was the hardest but most rewarding thing I have done in my life.

I have also traveled to Malaysia and Singapore with a friend who I met on my trip to the USA. We ate a lot of great food and went to the Formula 1 race in Singapore.

Most recently I went over to the USA again and caught up with some friends from my first trip. I love NBA so went to a bunch of games and saw some Nascar and Indycar races as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think this site is fantastic, I hope to be able to host people once I have my own place and also encourage other people at home to join up and be part of it!

I work at the front desk of a hotel in Melbourne, Australia so I am happy to give travel information for people if anyone has any questions about Melbourne. I grew up in Adelaide so I know the place back to front as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed only once so far, it was great, I met the host and another 7 people who were there from all over the world at the same time as me, it was a squeeze but a fantastic experience! One person even slept on the kitchen floor. We all went to the Daytona 500 together as well as out to dinner and out for drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Previously working in a DVD store, I have a stack of favourite movies, My favourite of all time is the Blues Brothers.
I like a wide range of music. My favourite is Bon Jovi but my other favourites are Michael Franti, Rise Against, U2, Linkin Park.
I enjoy pretty much all types of music from trance to small amounts of heavy metal and even a little bit of rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing and also hardest thing I have done in my life is perform stand-up comedy, also Go-Kart racing in Noumea, New Caledonia was a life highlight.

Teach, Learn, Share

I travel with an Australian Rules Football and enjoy teaching people how to play.
Also love showing people around cities and giving directions to people.
