Here it is in a nutshell: cool music, football, dairy products and some fun in the sun, or either of the above. Put in a little philosophy and warm literature in between the cheese and a frizbee and that's good enough a sandwich for me.

My current mission is to go up to 11.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm eager to meet some new people and hopefully host some of them when I get the chance. Currently I'm all open for a stroll round town and a drink in one of Zagreb's cool caffes and bars.

What I enjoy most about couchsurfing is the level of suspense. Neither the host nor the guest know how things will turn out - and they mostly turn out great: wine tasting in Oporto, fado in underground bars in Coimbra, street festivals in Barcelona, free bike rides in Berlin, honey beer on the coast of a canal in Gdansk, playing the tamboura in Istanbul...For me it's been excellent so far. So - hooray for awkward silences!

No, actually I just read some stuff about it in the National Geographic.

But I did take a bike trip through Western Ireland. We managed to do 100 kilometres in 6 hours through the hills and a lot of pouring rain. I couldn't believe how much I could eat afterwards.
