ABOUT ME

Shannon is: very outgoing and feels like a member of the family the moment you meet her. She is very athletic, has played ice hockey since she was nine years old. Being born in Canonsburg,Pa a little country girl at heart,she can fit right in with any situation. She can adapt very well to any culture or area. She takes great pride in her Italian heritage. She is definitely the most avid Penguins and Steelers fan out there. Since then she moved to Buffalo, NY making a tremendous impact. She became the best goaltender in New York state during her four years at Buffalo State College and also became a major part of the team off the ice. You will never meet a more determined person who has the most infectious smile. With Shannon around, you always feel like you are home.

Dana is: the most sports fanatic person you will ever meet, his favorite teams are the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, New York Mets, Manchester United. Do not let him fool you, he knows everything about every team you can possibly throw at him. His favorite players are Christiano Ronaldo (soccer), Jarome Ignila(hockey), Jose Reyes (baseball), and LT (football). Dana is a very sociable person and is not scared to talk to anyone. He is very driven and once he puts his mind to anything he will succeed. Also, Dana is very competetive he is not scared to go up against anyone in any sport. He played almost every sport in his high school career. Dana is very analytical, so do not try to pull a fast one on him because he will catch you on it. Lovvvveeesss to travel and wants to get as far away from Buffalo as he can because he wants to be able to tell his children where he has been. He is an amazing person, every person that I have introduced him to falls in love with him because his personality is very unique and is one that you will not forget. He is great with kids, pets and family. His family and loved ones will always come first no matter what. He has very good morals and was brought up very well that has the UTMOST respect for people. I promise you, once you meet Dana you will never forget him because he will leave a great impression.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We will try and have as many people stay at our home so people can see where we live. We think it is important part in peoples lives to see other parts of the world

We are interested in traveling obviously. We like to meet new people anywhere we go. We are interested in trying new foods and drinks. Definitely interested in learning about new cultures that are different then ours. We like to have a night in and just watch movies. Sports is OUR life and always will be. Between the both of us I think we know everything about all teams for every sport. We are both into hiking and biking. We like theater and going to plays and concerts. We are totally all about the out doors. Shannon loves the beach and gets tan withing 5 minutes because she is Italian. Dana is not so much about laying in the sun but rather be BBQing. Shannon loves wine especially Pinot Grigio. Dana is more about trying different kinds of beer. We love animals and eventually want to own our own farm. Dana is a huge dork about Anime. Shannon is huge dork about Nick at Night. AKA george lopez, Home Improvement, Rosanne, Family Matters (haha).

Finally graduated from College.

We are hoping to teach people about our culture. We want to teach people about us so that maybe they can learn something from us that so they can take it back with them to their home place. We totally want to learn about what is really out there. I (shannon) do not really know much about many cultures and I want to learn so that I wont have any sterotypes. I hate sterotypes, I think its stupid. We want to share our love and respect to everyone because that is what we all deserve.
