ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Sebastian,
Writing about yourself is, in my opinion, the hardest subject you could write about.
Let me start off with some basic facts:
I'm currently a student at the University of Leipzig, Germany and doing my BA in Translation.
My languages are English and Spanish. I'm very interested in languages and different cultures and am constantly trying to improve my skills.
Apart from the languages, I work with at the university, I'm currently working on improving my Esperanto skills, because I'm intrigued by the idea and simplicity of a planned language.
I've signed up to CS, because I like making use of my languages and to meet new people from all around our planet. :)
PHILOSOPHY
For me the most wonderful and interesting thing in life is definetly, that you learn new things and facts about it every day. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in a relatively small one-room appartment together with my girlfriend, so we don't really have enough space to host anyone, but I'm absolutely up to meeting travelers and showing them arround in this wonderful city. I can show you all the main tourist attractions as well as rather unusual sights, such as old GDR-Ruins or the best places to have a Döner or a beer...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed a couch in Vienna, together with my girlfriend. It was not only a couch but a wonderful double bed and also a wonderful experience. We stayed with our host for 5 days and learned more about the city, then we ever could have just by ourselves. I never experienced a bigger amount of hospitality in my life before. :)
Interests
Photography, learning new stuff, cooking (and eating of course), going on walks and obviously traveling! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
... either have to make me smile, sad or get a new perspective on things. If they do all that at the same time, that's even better.
My musical taste knows no genre boundries. If you want further information, you can check out my last.fm profile: http://www.last.fm/user/Earl_Cockwood
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a fairly good cook and could probably build a bong out of pretty much everything (please note I'm NOT a Pothead though)... ;)
