About Me
ABOUT ME
Because of the things I have lived at my young age, I consider I am quite openminded. I speak several languages and have interest in many things. Travel is a must in order to broaden the mind and so I try to as often as I can, close or far from home, and in very different circumstances.
I usually travel with my boyfriend, but as he is currently on the other side of the world working and that live goes on, I am trying to have my own experiences.
Also, I am currently searching for a job which is something that implies a certain mobility which I hope I can give means to thanks to couchsurfing.
PHILOSOPHY
"Fear is your worst ennemy, only facing it will allow you to enjoy life properly."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My appartment is big, but I do not have a guest room. I do, however, keep a sofabed in my living room, so I can have someone over if needed/wanted. I do live in the city center and the beach is quite far if you do not have a car. I am more than happy to lend you my dutch bike, tell you what bus to take or give you a ride if you want to go have a swim in the sea !
I moved here only a few months ago, so there are many things I still have to visit. I do have a good knowledge of the wines of the region : so that's something I can promote easily.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No couchsurfing experience yet. I do carpooling ("covoiturage"), though, very often, and sometimes for very long journeys (to Paris, the Netherlands or Lyon), so I am quite used to spending time and getting to know total strangers !
Interests
As I said earlier, I am interested in many things and can get interested by a lot more. I am very curious of new cultures, habits, traditions and languages. I am also perfectly able to have a conversation on any of the following topics : politics, IT, cars, environmental issues, science...
I work for a non-profit in the wine industry and my boy friend is a wine maker... so there's always a bottle to taste, which is something we enjoy sharing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot, but quite rarely the latest books. Same for cinema and music, for for a strange reason I feel I have so catching up to do on the centuries and decades I wasn't born.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Of course, travelling always gives you your share of amazement, but you can find it in everyday life as well, watching kids growing up (I have two small nephews), seeing a dog adopting a cat, discovering your neighbor is a skilled artist, or that there is a public garden with beautiful flowers right two streets away from home. Also, there is nothing like ridding a bicycle at sunrise in summer, like the first snow flakes of the year, or taking a walk in the yellow leaves of fall.
