About Me

I'm a student, originally from Tampere, currently living in Turku. I've completed my bachelor's degree in Comparative Religion at Uni and I aim to study Environmental Change and Global Sustainability in my master's. So environmental stuff are important to me. I've traveled quite a lot, but not much on my own yet.

I live in a commune with three other people and a cat and I love it. I like to do theater, sports (especially running and yoga), meet with friends, have nights in or out. I do love a good red wine and oat chai latte!

I'm considerate, polite and humorous person, I talk much but I also love to listen other people's experiences and views of life. I'd say I'm pretty easy person to be around with!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people from different countries and cultures and share stories and moments with them, that richens life. Staying in some one's home gets you to know some one in a whole new level! The best experiences include sitting with the host till 5am talking about life.

Currently I'm not accepting quests as I haven't got a home of my own, but if you are hanging around in Turku, I can show some places and offer company for a dinner or a drink. :)

I have been quite on and off CS, member since 2017 but really started using it a year ago!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of music, but heavy music scares me.
My all time favourite is Gorillaz, though. I got to see them last year in Dublin and it was amazing!

I do love good movies, my favourites are for example The Grand Budapest Hotel, Her, Ameliè.. I'm always open for movie suggestions and movienights!

I looove books and I'd like to think I read quite a lot but in reality I'm a super slow reader. :D But also open for good book suggestions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think things I've done are quite small, but big for me. Last spring I won my fear of performing in public and performed in a theater production. At this moment I'm trying to win my fear of travelling alone and I'm travelling alone to Italy and back via land.

If I have to list one amazing thing I've done, it should be my travel to Australia and New Zealand years ago. The trip was amazing and I can't wait to go back downundering!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing experiences in life, deep conversations and understanding different views of life.

Teach me anything, I'd be happy to learn! I can teach you how to make an owl whistle with your hands in return.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my personality, humour, jokes, culture, facts about Finland, chocolate if I have some with me... Also I can teach you the longest word in Finnish! It has impressed many.
Sadly I'm not a super cheff but I can cook couple of good dishes! They're all vegetarian or vegan though as I don't eat meat.
