ABOUT ME

Well.. My name is Shawn Alden and Im currently at a point in my life where I feel I need to see more of this beautiful planet we live on. I am currently working on purchasing a "round the world ticket" to ease my curiosity. I was recently told about this website and thought it would be a great way to expand my horizons and meet some really wonderful people!I am 22 years old. I love outdoorsy activities. I surf all the time out here in hawaii. When I was in Oregon I was a professional whitewhater rafting guide in the summer and worked at a ski resort in the winter. But dont get me wrong Im young and I do love to go out and let loose every once in a while! Im currently in the timeshare industry and really do love what I do! but Im just here basically to network and meet some cool people worldwide!

Well I just went and did it, I bought my trip around the world. If you are in any of the areas that I am traveling or have any advice please let me know!
The trip is as follows:

Leave HAWAII AUG 3...arrive BARCELONA AUG 5
Leave PRAGUE SEP 3...arrive BANGKOK SEP 5
Leave BANGKOK OCT 4...arrive BALI OCT 5
leave BALI NOV 3... arrive HAWAII NOV 4

Also I have become a PESCATARIAN since last august. I am very proud of that, and trust me Im the last person I thought would ever give up meat. And for all of you that dont know, a PESCATARIAN is a person that only eats seafood, so no beef, chicken, pork ect. we also eat eggs. What changed my mind was a video I found on youtube called "the price of meat" check it out!!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Well, when I was 9 I moved to New Guinea with just me and my mother and we lived there for about 3 years. One of the great thing about living there was I was able to travel and expierience other cultures. Ive been to places like Australia, Indonesia, singapore, paris, India, Nepal, borneo and a lot of other unique cultures. I am grateful for that expierience but one of may main goals now is to recreate that expirience but do it now when Im 23 not 10. so hopefully some of you wonderful people can help do accomplish this goal!!
