I'm Sabina, from Tennessee. Currently, I am living and working in Krakow, Poland, where I have been developing my Polish skills. I have a beautiful cat, Basia. She's my whole world (you can find her picture in my photos!).

Living in Krakow, Poland has exposed me to new cultures and people from all over the world. Using social applications introduced me to Brazilian culture. Therefore, I have acquired an interest in forró and Brazilian Portuguese (I hope to have a working knowledge of the language by the end of the year!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am I on Couchsurfing? Why not! It's an amazing opportunity to learn from people, places, and cultures that are different from my own.

Interests

I love photography, traveling, reading, hiking, watching Netflix, talking politics, and sightseeing. Most of all, though, there's nothing better than sharing a meal with wonderful company.
I'm not the most experienced hiker but I do love chasing waterfalls and climbing to the top of a mountain in order to get a great shot! I also enjoy hanging out at coffeehouses where local artists perform.

I love places that are off the beaten path rather than a tourist destination.

Also, I love all things that have to do with European culture, especially Central and Eastern Europe. However, I am extremely open minded and enjoy speaking with people about their favorite destinations, about things that excite them, and learning about things that I have no knowledge of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe that every experience can be an amazing one, whether it is positive or negative. I think the most amazing thing I’ve done thus far was moving to Kraków, Poland. Living in Europe is unlike anything I’ve experienced in the States.
