I have been living in Switzerland my whole life and love to travel! I travel a lot for my job (I am a medical illustrator for an international foundation), but also to festivals and concerts, or just to widen my horizont and learn about human culture. My husband Dan is from the US. As a aircraft mechanic, he is constantly back and forth between US and Switzerland. So we are both kinda hanging between 2 continents.

Thanks to Dans job, we both fly for almost free, but always on Standby. We like the adventure of not knowing when and where we might end up. We also strongly dislike hotels. It makes us feel like being trapped in a fishbowl. An ivory tower where we miss whats actually going on in the streets. We also like to meet new people from all over the world to hear their stories. Ideally someone who has similar interests to us and is looking for a place to discover those things in another part of the world. Interests and hobbies bring people closer than just the travel for travels sake. We are both into Goth and Metal music and are happy to point a fellow metalhead towards the clubs in Switzerland. We also like all things mediaval and to drink, discover or make beer. My husband is also very in to cooking different food from all over the world and to discover new spices. Me, to be honest, enjoy eating it more.

We live in Brunegg, almost in the countrieside. Not much culture going on, unless you are really into cows. But its a great location to explore Zürich or Basel, both major cities where I am happy to point a guest in the right direction. If you are into Metal and beer, I can show you all the little spots, bars, and concert halls.
