Hi,
we are Sabine (f, 28) & Uli (m, 33)! We are an open-minded, outgoing and easy to handle German couple and are interested in almost everything!

During our various holidays in the last years, we fell in love with the planet and with travelling... So we decided at the beginning of 2014 that it's time for US to set out into the world and to see more of it! Thought and done.
We quit our jobs, terminated our flat, packed our backpacks and packed all our other belongings into a couple of boxes. Since April 2014, we are on our big open-end journey and we're looking forward to all the adventures still ahead of US!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We love to get to know people from other countries and cultures and to see their home through their eyes. This allows us to see things from another perspective than just by watching touristy from the outside.

Furthermore: the best things to do, the best places to eat and what not to miss we never found in a Travel Guide - as only the local people know this stuff - and if we're lucky they share it with us.

So we thought, what better way could exist for all of that other than staying with local people - and on their couch? :-)

兴趣

We love chatting, travelling without a route to follow, hanging out with new-found friends and drinking a couple of beers together, the ocean and the outdoor lifestyle like hiking, camping, beeing on the road and beeing active in general. From time to time, we also enjoy wandering around in big cities, finding new favorite spots for a good coffee and getting a feeling for a city's vibe.

For us, it's all about travelling, people, stories, experience as well as discovering and trying out new things!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Taking the Trans-Siberian Railway all the way from Moscow to Beijing and travelling 3rd class with 54 other people in one coach. Really some kind of a once-in-a-lifetime- journey and providing enough stories for a whole summer of bonfire nights! :-)

Our most remarkable night on this journey: the one on the floor in a Mongolian Ger, together with 14 1/2 other persons and a baby goat in the middle of nowhere...and then it began to snow...
