ABOUT ME

There is mostly a smile in my face,
I am a skipjack. When plan A doesn't work, then plan B or C is not far away. Clouds and rocks/ mountains tell me great stories which I write down or paint from time to time. I love colorful conversations. Eary bird instead of night owl. Enjoy my silence as well as a busy life. Prefer to be a vegan, to pick here and there wild herbs and to be a self supporter in an urban environment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

with taking and giving, e.g. helping with the housework during my stay. Unfortunately I am not able to offer a couch so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am really happy with couchsurfing.
So far all my hosts gave me a warm welcome, gave me a home during beeing on the road and included me in their life. Further more all my hosts helped me to execute my plans like ridig along the confederation trail in P.E.I. in off season and even to fly to Nunavut. It was always like staying with friends or family. And for that I am very thankful.

Music, Movies, and Books

I live without a TV and don't miss it. Instead I prefer to go to festivals, musicals, theaters, concerts or circus (without animals) .
Music depends on my mood and the location, sometimes I love it to listen to singing birds, sometimes Folk music, sometimes Reggae and hopefully it brings me to dance.
When I read, then mostly historical novales (e.g Rebecca Gable) or once in a while Terry Pratchett (English version)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dared me to resign my job in July 2013 for travelling 13,5 months across Canada to fullfill my dream of 14 years to see all provinces and territories. I did and loved it AND I wrote about it ; )

Teach, Learn, Share

there is always something to learn and teach from each other, like making moose out of pappmache or vegan backing (pure chocolate brownies with sour cheeries and custard - very yummy)
