About Me
I'm a recent graduate and Freelance Filmmaker based out of Grand Rapids. I love nothing more than to gain new experiences, which is why I try and learn as many new things as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Working in the film industry I have the opportunity to travel a lot for my work. Unfortunately housing situations aren't always available, so I'm looking for an opportunity to make new friends in parts of the world I haven't been to before.
Interests
I love watching movies, yoga, cats, running fun 5ks and Mexican food.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I will listen to just about everything, but I tend to listen to a lot of Indie and Alternative rock, depending on the mood I'm in.
Movies: I love them all. I can't pick any one favorite, but I love O Brother Where At Thou, Wall-E, Skyfall, and The Pianist.
Books: I don't have the opportunity to read as often as I'd like, but I've enjoyed The Alchemist, A Fine Balance, and In the Time of the Butterflies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my latest trip I hiked to the top of El Yunque and kayaked in a torrential downpour to see one of the bioluminescent bays in Puerto Rico.
Summer of 2016 I went skydiving for the first time.
February of 2016 I spent Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and caught a coconut from the Zulu parade!
I have also run many interesting 5ks over the past couple of years including "The Zombie Dash" where you have to run away from zombies, the "Glow in the Park Run" where you got to glow in the dark, the "Color Me Rad Run" which was like the Color Run, and many more! Most recently I completed my first Triathlon and ran the Tough Mudder in 2015.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I come equipped with the ability to geek out on a lot of things and love on any and all animals you might have. I have a comprehensive knowledge of how the film world works that I can share with anyone who's interested. And finally, I love making desserts and can make a mean chocolate chip cookie or whatever desert you'd like (with the option of it being gluten free).
