About Me
Hello my name is Sabrina I am 26 years old and I'm from Tyrol, Austria. My hobbies are skiing, snowboarding, hiking, yoga and of course traveling. But I also enjoy exploring my home country and the beautiful alps in winter and summer.
I am also interested in a sustainable and self suficiente/ minimalistic lifestyle therefore my biggest dream is to build my own self suficiente tiny house. I even wrote my master thesis about tiny houses and got some great insight from those tiny house experts i interviewed.
September 2022 i finished my masters degree in Innsbruck and right now I am taking a year off (or more ;)) to travel and explore new places.
Right now I am traveling in South America since 7 month and I am learning spanish while I travel. For me slow traveling is very important meaning really getting to know a place, the people and their culture instead of rushing through a country ticking all the boxes on the bucket list. That’s now what I am looking for. I am looking for genuine connection and interaction with locals and fellow travelers.
:-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy traveling and exploring different cultures and places. I love to listen to people and their stories and I think Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity
to meet locals who can give you an authentic inside into their culture and city or village. So far I meet the most amazing and kind people on couchsurfing and I always feel so thankfull and lucky to experience the pure kindness of people. I believe that the things you mostly remember about your travels and adventures are not the places but rather the friendly encounters or friendships you have made along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trying to push me out of my comfort zone more often, even if it is just a samll thing which might not be worth mentioning to another person, but for me it's a big step. I try to do this every day, even thought it doesn't work every time I really learned that it's so important to be proud of yourself and to believe in yourself and what you can accomplish!
